Question by icalldibbs: Nyssa Sylvatica Zydeco Twisted: where can I buy one?
I recently traveled to Louisville, KY. I went to the Cave Hill Cemetery and they had a plant I am interested in looking to buy.

It’s called ‘Nyssa Sylvatica Zydeco Twisted’…or you could probably call it a Contorted Black Gum. Anyone know a good online nursery?

here is an image of it…

I’d also like to know about some of the characteristics about this tree. Does it grow slower than a normal black gum? How tall does it grow? Will it grow well in Missouri?

Thats a nice looking plant. If you can’t find someone to sell you one, you could probibly try starting one from a clipping.
