Question by Lucy A: What to do for a maidenhair tree thats has some leaves turning brown?
I have a small Ginkgo biloba (maidenhair tree) that is in a large pot on my patio. It has been fine for years now until I transfered it to my house from my friend’s. A few weeks ago, some of the leaves have been turning brown. Is this normal? Should I leave them or take the brown ones off?
My friend had it in his backyard where theres only some sun. I now have it in the front of my house where the sun is the strongest during the day. Could it be that the sun has burnt the leaves?
Other than those few leaves, the tree does not seem to be in any distress.

Question by Leif S: How do I dissolve a Ginkgo biloba extract into solution?
I’m doing an IP injection on rats with Ginkgo biloba. I have an Egb 761 extract in tablet form, and I was wondering how do I get the tablet into an injectable form that is sterile?

You’ll have to use water or preferably saline to make it soluble, then pass it through a 5micron and 0.45micron pre-filter and sterilize it using a 0.22micron filter. That’s my best guess.
